Vegan Restaurants in Lisbon, Portugal (With Gluten-Free Options)
I want to share this curated list of all the vegan restaurants I’ve found in Lisbon, Portugal, where it's fairly easy to find gluten-free menu options. These are the vegan eateries I desperately needed to know about to ensure my month in Lisbon felt extra special.
Some of these vegan restaurants even serve traditional Portuguese food. Yes, there are Lisbon restaurants that serve traditional Portuguese dishes—that are vegan with gluten-free options. This vegan, who has celiac disease, might forever be in awe.
While the photo above shows my simple go-to favorite—a plant-based vegan bowl with edible flowers—there are vast and diverse gorgeous vegan delights in Lisbon that soar beyond juicy artisanal burgers and stunning desserts.
And there are even more vegan restaurants in Lisbon than the wonders I’ve listed below. I am deeply grateful to all who are dedicated to creating this kinder world—building a more sustainable life on Earth for all living beings and our precious planet.
Beautifully, those not vegan can enjoy these vegan food adventures, too. Anyone can choose this climate-friendly and cruelty-free food wherever they go. Savoring local vegan food while traveling this world is one of the quickest ways to travel sustainably.
